Ruby on Rails
Our first choice of development tool is Ruby on Rails, a rich website framework that allows us provide customs solutions quickly and efficiently without being constrained by simple templates.
It is the first choice of applications like Basecamp, GitHub, Shopify, Airbnb, Twitch, SoundCloud, Hulu, Zendesk, Square, Cookpad and many others as well, so while you may not be familiar with it directly, it powers some of the everyday applications commonly in use.
Rails is constantly maintained, has a rich ecosystem which provides us with the tools we need to keep up with the changing requirements of the Internet and provides regular security updates. We've been working with it for a decade now, and have wide experience of deploying it with a number of other technologies.
It is particularly useful when building functionality and for those who wish to create a more personalised experience for their visitors, allowing website owners to tell their individual story and engage more fully.
